  1. Hi everyone,

How are you getting on? Just today, I’ve spent three months working on this mission. Time flies. As you can see, I was allowed to write my first email after three hard long months away from home, so I’m very happy because I was a bit homesick.

Life in space is very normal, but at the same time very different from life on earth. I’ve spent the days working hard on a lot of different experiments, so I haven’t had too much time to think. I’m working with two men and three women, so don’t worry I’m not alone. My workmates are really amazing, at first we were a little bit distant because we didn’t know each other, but right now we are a family. As you can imagine, they are gifted people as me with a lot of skills related to science, so I’m learning a lot from everyone.

Obviously, one of the best thing about the mission is the possibility of spending time working with some of the most intelligent people in the world, and the most difficult thing, without a doubt, is the lack of room. We are completely cramped. But after three months eventually, you can put up with this lack of room, and as you can imagine the sights from here are completely amazing.

As you know, the mission is going to last around two years. I’m in the init of the mission and I’ll have a a lot of work to do and a lot of problems to deal with. But I’m completely sure we’ll overcome this challenge successfully.

I hope to write you as soon as possible.

    Kisses for everyone.
