    Dear Ms Beck,

I am writing this letter in response to the advertisement for the position of animal care specialist in the National Zoo that I saw in your website. I am confident that I would be an excellent candidate for both looking after the animals and conducting tours for young visitors. I have been interested in working in the National Zoo since I first visited it when I was a child.

I have extensive experience working with animals: I worked as a veterinarian assistant in a dog shelter at weekends when I was at high school, and thereafter I was working part-time in a small zoo cleaning the cages of small animals. Recently, I have finished my degree in Tourism, and I hace received the award for the best student in my class. I did the internship as a tourist guide in an important natural park called Cabarceno Zoo, and I was given a reference letter from the person responsible of the park, which I attach. In adittion, apart from Spanish, I can speak English and French fluently, and currently I am in the last course of German at the Languages Oficial School.

I have an outgoing, diligent personality, and I am a people-person who enjoys working with other people. I am enthusiastic about working with animals as well, so I think that I fit in this position perfectly.

I attach a copy of my CV and a reference letter from my internship, and I can provide you more information if neccesary. I am available for a personal interview when it is convenient for you. If you have any question or requirement, do not hesitate to contact me.

I would be grateful if you took me into account for this job and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Yours sincerely,

    Isabel González
